The free Ephemeral capsule is now available
Starting today, every user can create a free Ephemeral capsule. We have heard from many of you who said, "I want a place to leave something behind at the end, even if it is not preserved forever." The Ephemeral capsule is our answer to those voices. Each user can create 1 Ephemeral capsule with contents up to 500MB, and its due open date can be set up to 5 years ahead. The opened capsule will be deleted 5 years after it is opened, and advertisements are displayed on its pages. Before it is opened, an Ephemeral capsule can be upgraded to an Eternal capsule. The paid Eternal capsule continues to be preserved forever under the anti-deleting policy, as before. Along with this change, the former Free Trial Capacity (capsules deleted 30 days after creation) has been discontinued, and we have revised the Terms of Service (effective date: 2026-09-28). For details, please see the Price page and the Terms of Service.
